Steam sign-in is required before requesting early access. The request form then asks for your Steam game authentication code and one match token (share code), so OptiCS2 can follow your match history. Both can be revoked in Steam at any time.

How to get your game authentication code and match token
- Open Valve's match-history tool and sign in with your Steam account: help.steampowered.com → Counter-Strike 2 → Access to Your Match History ↗
- Create a game authentication code. The tool shows it as
XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX. Copy it into the form. It does not expire unless you revoke it there. - Copy your match token. The same tool shows the token of your most recently completed match as
CSGO-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. You can also take a match sharing code from an available match inside CS2: Watch → Your Matches → pick a match → copy its sharing code. - Submit the form. OptiCS2 uses the pair only to follow your match history forward from that match. It cannot sign in as you, trade, or change your account. Revoke the code in the Steam tool at any time.
